They are now seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.
About the Role
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children across the primary age range. You’ll work closely with the class teacher to support learning in the classroom, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
• Support pupils in the classroom to access learning and stay engaged
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions when required
• Provide additional support for pupils with SEND or additional learning needs
• Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and daily routines
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience working with children (school, nursery, or similar setting)
• A kind, patient, and nurturing approach
• Passionate about supporting young learners
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to use initiative
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills
