£30,000 + uncapped monthly bonus
Brightwork are supporting a fast growing UK business looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager to support continued growth, joining their team in South Lanarkshire.
This role will suit someone who enjoys telephone-based B2B sales, relationship building and working in a fast-moving commercial environment.
The Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with installation and trade customers, understanding their requirements and supplying suitable solutions.
The role combines account management with proactive outbound sales - approx. a 60/40 split in favour of account management - including cold calling, to grow existing accounts and win new business. You will work closely with customers on a range of projects, identifying appropriate solutions based on their needs.
You will also:
• Manage new and existing customer accounts
• Prospect new markets and customers to generate new orders
• Develop long-term customer relationships and maximise account value
• Promote products and win new business with significant annual sales volumes
• Handle customer queries and complaints, working with internal teams to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office tools and the company CRM system
• Provide regular activity and performance reports to management
• Support marketing activity, including attending industry events where required
• Keep up to date with product applications, market conditions and competitor activity
About You
• Experience in a renewable energy/power solutions sales environment
• Strong communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner
• Demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude with a clear aptitude for sales
• Be comfortable with outbound B2B calling, including cold calling
• Be organised and confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• This role would suit someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and motivated by results, with a desire to grow within an expanding business.
