Crynodeb
Our client is currently recruiting a Forklift Driver where you will be responsible for moving, lifting, loading and unloading materials for recycling or disposal, whilst adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a counterbalance forklift to lift and transport materials to designated areas
Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate streams.
Monitoring and controlling continuous flow or materials in the factory
Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly those relating to forklift including conducting routine inspections and maintenance of the forklift. Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets, supporting overall operational efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment, ensuring work areas are free of hazards.
Please note you may also be required to carry out any other duties as required by the business that you are qualified/trained in that meet the requirements of this role .
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Forklift Licence essential
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols
Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving equipment.
Effective communication and teamwork skills
