We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly. If you have great experience, but not on a Farm, we’d still love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of farm machinery and vehicles, including tractors, and sprayers.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all equipment is working efficiently and safely, adhering to industry standards.
• Work closely with the farm operations team to schedule repairs and minimize disruption to daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with the training of other team members on equipment care and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with agricultural equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with a wide range of machinery and tools.
• Basic knowledge of farming operations and machinery is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A or B preferred).
• Relevant certifications or technical training (e.g., in diesel engines or hydraulics) is desirable.
