Crynodeb
The post holder will be expected to deliver the full scope of routine GP services and to own and manage their own clinical workload, including: Face-to-face, telephone and digital consultations Clinical assessment, diagnosis and management Prescribing and medication reviews Making and tracking their own referrals Submitting and managing Advice & Guidance requests Reviewing, interpreting and actioning their own pathology and imaging results Managing their own correspondence, lab links and workflows Issuing and signing their own prescriptions Accurate coding and documentation in EMIS Web Administrative and clinical support will be provided by the practice team; however, the role is explicitly designed so that clinical ownership remains with the locum GP, without inappropriate transfer of work to partners or other clinicians. Sessions Four sessions per week Each session is 3.5 to 4 hours Protected time included for practice meetings and clinical meetings. £90£100 per hour Dependent on experience and mutual agreement Paid on a locum basis This role is not salaried and is not pensionable.
