Crynodeb
Carry out full electronic and bio-medical servicing of a broad range of biomedical equipment working to component level as appropriate. Ensure all work undertaken is documented in the appropriate manner, recorded and updated using department equipment database. To be involved in the trial, assessment, evaluation and provide overall advice around decision making for new equipment. Acceptance testing and commissioning of new equipment. Work closely with technical and clinical staff to provide high standards of service delivery and assisting in the continuous improvement of management of medical equipment across the Trust. Maintain proper control over the use and ordering of spare parts to ensure budgetary guidelines are adhered to. To work across all PAH sites and PCT sites where required. Working with clinical staff for the Investigation of equipment involved in incidents and reporting to EBME Manager/MDSO and other interested parties any outcomes. Liaising with EBME Management, manufacturers to resolve issues/incidents and other device related queries Reporting to official bodies such as MHRA, regarding equipment or device issues and faults.
