Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. If you are applying using a Graduate visa as your right to work, you must have a minimum of 18 months remaining on your visa at time of application. To support 65 week recovery endeavours: Using the appropriate Trust systems in place to capture and record accurate PTL data. Using their own initiative, supported by local guidance and the Access Policy to implement, analyse, interpret and apply judgements involving the 18 weeks rules and definitions to ensure compliance. Responsible for ensuring that patient records have the correct clock starts and clock stops, by validating and interpreting patient pathways from first outpatient appointment, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment. This may involve adjusting / correcting patient referrals where inaccurate data entries have been put in by divisions. Validating the weekly and monthly reports within agreed timescales. Monitor the PTLs to maintain accurate waiting times throughout the patient pathway. Analyse data and produce ad hoc reports as directed by the Operational Manager. Ensure that directorate managers are aware in a timely manner of any previously unreported potential breaches of waiting times targets that are caused by validation. Highlight any systematic data recording errors or performance concerns to the Operational Manager. Monitor tertiary referrals for patients referred to or from another Trust for treatment. Query and escalate to clinicians as to progress of a pathway; carrying forward any necessary actions. To respond or take telephone queries regarding referral to treatment time information and data collection. Report to the Operational Manager any potential clinical governance issues, or complaints, to ensure they are dealt with in a timely and appropriate manner. People management and development Responsible for carrying out duties in line with the Trusts e-rostering processes, including managing rosters, supporting staff allocation, and contributing to effective budget reconciliation and workforce planning Learning and development Attend mandatory training updates as required. Undertake training as necessary in line with the development of the post and as agreed with the line manager as part of the personal development process. Achieve and demonstrate agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales. Identify own learning needs and jointly plan training requirements with your line manager Participate in the Trusts appraisal process to discuss how your role will help deliver the best possible care to our patients and help to deliver any changes in service.
