Independent Living Officer
We are currently looking for an Independent Living Officer to join One Vision Housing at The Sovini Group.

This position is a Permanent position
As an Independent Living Officer, you will be expected to:
Be responsible for managing the Independent Living Service in a designated area by delivering intensive housing management, which encompasses the five key outcomes identified on the housing action plan.
To be successful in an Independent Living Officer role, the skills you will need:
Educated to GCSE standard of equivalent.
Full driving licence and use of car for work.
To be prepared to attend evening meeting and be flexible where appropriate.
Educated to CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or the willingness to learn.
An understanding of safeguarding and vulnerable groups.
Have excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to manage own workload without direct supervision.
Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment ensuring deadlines are met.
Good standard of ICT literacy and the confidence to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel daily.
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.

Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
Experience of liaising with social, medical and care agencies.
Previous experience of housing management.
Knowledge of housing legislation.
