Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (Ramadan)
Hours: (Mornings & Evenings)
Location: Local neighborhoods (door-to-door)
About the Role
We are recruiting Ramadan Fundraising Officers to support a door-to-door fundraising campaign during the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign aims to raise funds for the printing and distribution of Qur’ans for Gaza, Sudan, Pakistan, Syria providing essential spiritual resources to communities affected by ongoing hardship.
This is a paid role suitable for individuals who are confident, well-spoken, and motivated to contribute to a meaningful humanitarian and religious project.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct door-to-door fundraising in allocated areas
Explain the Qur’an printing project clearly and respectfully
Collect donations in line with company and safeguarding procedures
Maintain accurate records of funds collected
Represent the organisation professionally and with good character
Work independently or as part of a small team
Person Specification
Aged 18 or over
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident engaging with the public
Honest, reliable, and punctual
Available during Ramadan
Previous fundraising, sales, or community outreach experience is an advantage but not essential
