Job Title: Product Consultant – Digital Platform & Consulting Enablement
Location: Leeds (Nexus Hub) / Hybrid
Reports To: Director
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time, Permanent)
About the Role
The IT Business Analyst / Product Consultant will streamline digital delivery processes within the consulting service line, ensuring that consulting workflows, engineering analytics, and operational methodologies are mapped into structured digital formats to enhance client engagement and consistency of delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyse current consulting workflows and identify processes suited for digital automation.
• Define product requirements, user journeys, and feature mapping documents for the Software Engineer.
• Conduct process modelling and requirement workshops to align digital platform features with consulting delivery.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, user stories, backlog priorities, and release plans.
• Collaborate with consulting teams to capture operational and engineering process logic.
• Validate build releases against consulting methodology and ensure product-market relevance.
• Champion user experience and interface flow suitable for engineering/manufacturing client personas.
• Produce internal documentation, feature roadmaps, and process integration guidelines.
• Support platform testing, feedback capture, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong background in business analysis, product consulting, or digital transformation consulting.
• Ability to break down consulting service lines into digital modules and structured workflows.
• Minimum 5years experience working with engineering/manufacturing clients or operational consulting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of process mapping, product requirement documentation, and agile delivery cycles.
• Familiarity with SaaS or digital consulting enablement tools is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to act as a bridge between commercial and technical teams.
