This is a great opportunity for new Application Packaging Consultant to join the University’s Information Services.
Reporting to the Application Packaging Team lead, you will deliver application packaging and support as part of a team of three packaging specialists in the delivery of application packaging and support to the end user fleet team.
As a member of the End User Services Team [EUC], you will contribute technical expertise to the management of the Universities software portfolio across all platforms. The software packaging team are a core component of the End User Computing team in Information Services forming the pipeline to analyse, package, deploy, report and maintain every software package required by users across the Universities diverse and extensive end user device fleet.
Supporting thousands of applications, across the end user fleet of 25000 devices, on both Mac and PC, both physical and virtual, local and cloud this role.
Utilising our extensive toolkit to deploy applications to our users (SCCM, inTune, JAMF, Azure Virtual Desktop) the successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of these services to all of our users, on all of our campuses, UK and International.
This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended.
