I'm a 57-Year-old woman (Getting old but young at heart). I have various interest, enjoy life but make the most of it. I am a full-time wheelchair user but certainly don't sit around watching daytime TV.
I have shift to cover, looking for a carer/carers to complete my team.
They are:
Every other Sunday 12 midday – 3pm
Every other Friday 3pm – 5pm
Every Thursday evening 5:30pm – 8:30pm
I will also need temporary cover on a Tuesday & Thursday; these shifts will normally be 9am -5pm but could possibly be split (to cover carers operation recovery up to 3 months). I’m looking for someone who can drive my WAV (Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle). It’s a manual car (not van) and the driver needs to be over 25.
This is a PAYE (which include holiday entitlement).
Rate of pay:
Monday – Friday £14.10 per hour
Saturdays £15.00 per hour
Sundays £16.00 per hour
Even if you can do one of the above shifts, please still apply.

- Moving and handling
- Other relevant duties as required
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Companionship
- Bathroom assistance
- Using a hoist to transfer me on/off the toilet
Candidate qualities:
- Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
- Reliable with good timekeeping
- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Honest and cheerful
- Creative
- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
