Clinical Fellow - Urgent and Emergency Care

We are looking for someone to join our enthusiastic and motivated Urgent & Emergency Care Team.

Working across the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) & Integrated Assessment Unit (IAU) with direct shop floor supervision from our Consultants and middle grade teams. The post offers protected weekly departmental teaching and benefits from educational supervision by a consultant as well as many other educational opportunities.

Working hours across AMU/IAU are predominately between 08.00 - 18.00 and will cover 7 days per week on a rolling rota with the expectation of working a 1 in 4 weekend.

Should the need arise you may be asked to work within the Same Day Emergency Care Unit or the Emergency Department as these areas fall within the Urgent & Emergency Care directorate.
• Providing direct clinical care to all patients
• Formulate a diagnosis and develop a management strategy or plan for each patient
• Provide patient management in accordance with in accordance with national guidelines, protocols, practice standards and Trust policies
• Provide clear and precise written and electronic documentation of patient care
• Participate in the current shift rota pattern
• Participate and lead on clinical audits
