We are recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee evening cleaning operations at a large, professional commercial site in Birmingham city centre.
This is a practical, no-nonsense role supervising a small team and making sure standards are met every shift.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of 4 cleaning operatives
Allocate duties and manage staff attendance
Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to the required standard
Carry out quality checks and resolve issues promptly
Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
Report maintenance issues and cleaning supply requirements
Act as the senior point of contact during the shift
Requirements
Essential:
Previous cleaning experience
Good leadership and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Able to work independently
Desirable:
Supervisory or team-lead experience
Commercial cleaning background
