Experienced Diagnostic Automotive Technician
Godalming Area | Full-Time | £40,000–£50,000
Monday to Friday 8am – 430pm – No Weekends!
We’re looking for an experienced diagnostic automotive technician to join our client’s workshop in the Godalming area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys in-depth mechanical and diagnostic work in a relaxed, well-equipped environment.
The Role
You’ll be trusted with proper diagnostic and mechanical jobs, including:
• Advanced diagnostics and fault-finding
• Oscilloscope work
• Cam belts and wet belts
• Full mechanical repairs (no quick-fit work)
• Working independently on your own ramp and workspace
This is a role for someone who knows their craft and wants the time and tools to do jobs properly.
What We Offer
• Salary: £40,000–£50,000 (depending on experience)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Relaxed approach to breaks and working day
• Your own ramp and dedicated workspace
• On-site parking
• Christmas shutdown
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays
• Self-employed technicians also welcome
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in diagnostics and in-depth mechanical work
• Confident using diagnostic equipment and oscilloscopes
• Able to work independently and take pride in quality workmanship
