Responsible for the co-ordination, delivery and optimisation of clinical pharmacy oncology services at the Sutton & Kingston site, to include the provision of services 7 days a week (if required) and out of hours. To be responsible for supporting the Head of Clinical services in the operational delivery of clinical pharmacy oncology services at the Sutton & Kingston site. To lead the pharmacy team providing a clinical pharmacy oncology service at the Sutton & Kingston site, to include day to day oversight of operations, implementation of clear processes for allocating and managing the workforce and skill mix optimisation. To contribute to the local delivery of the pharmacy Education and Training strategy. To collaborate with the Pharmacy Education and Training Team to develop a strategy that is appropriate, aspirational and supports the development and delivery of a high quality clinical pharmacy service. Deputise for senior members of the pharmacy team where appropriate attending Trust meetings, taking responsibility for the Pharmacy Department when required and dealing with any clinical and service issues that arise. To identify changes in prescribing practices and new prescribing practices that may impact on the drugs budget and / or patient activity and communicate any perceived impact to the relevant teams and clinical business unit.
