The Opportunity
We are seeking a confident and experienced Welfare Rights Caseworker to join our established Welfare Rights Team. This is a rewarding role where you will deliver high-quality welfare benefits advice to clients across Cheshire West, managing a varied caseload.

You will play a vital role in helping people access their entitlements, resolving complex benefit issues, preparing appeal submissions with some representing clients at tribunal.

What You’ll Be Doing
Providing specialist welfare benefits casework to clients in a community or home setting
Managing a caseload efficiently and to a high quality standard
Preparing written appeal submissions
Representing clients at tribunal when necessary
Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and committed team

About You
You will be an experienced welfare rights caseworker who is motivated by making a real difference to people’s lives. You will bring:

Recent, relevant experience of providing welfare benefits casework
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and case management abilities
A collaborative, team-focused approach
Experience of preparing appeal submissions
