Summary

We're looking for a Reactive Works Senior Supervisor to join our Highways team based in Bridgwater. In this role you'll play a vital role in overseeing daily reactive works operations in the Sedgemoor area. Location: Dunball Depot, Bridgwater - site based 5 days per week

Hours: 40 hours per week

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Supervisor, you'll be working within the Reactive Works team, supporting them in delivering timely and effective highway maintenance solutions. You'll ensure safety defects are promptly addressed while nurturing a collaborative team environment.

Your day to day will include:

-Coordinating daily works and resources to meet safety standards and contractual requirements

-Managing depot operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely

-Supporting your team through effective communication, guidance, and wellbeing initiatives

-Liaising with clients, stakeholders and emergency services to minimise network disruption

-Leading by example to promote a strong safety culture and inclusive workplace



What are we looking for?

This role of Reactive Works Senior Supervisor is great ideal if you:

-Have experience of working within the highways industry

-Enjoy nurturing and supporting team members to achieve their best

-Have strong communication skills across all levels

-Are comfortable using Microsoft programmes

-Hold an SSSTS qualification or higher
