Summary
Great opportunity to work as a Sewing Machinist for our client's upholstery site.
Staffline is recruiting Sewing Machinists in Coventry.
The rate of pay is £12.21 per hour.
This is a full-time role working fixed shifts and the hours of work are:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:15pm
- Friday: 7:30am to 12:30pm
Your Time at Work
As a Sewing Machinist your duties include:
- Operating industrial sewing machines in a fast-paced production setting
- Sewing a range of materials to the required specifications
- Carrying out twin needle sewing, top sewing, flat sewing, and overlocking
- Ensuring consistently high-quality workmanship
- Completing regular sewing machine checks and basic maintenance
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Following health & safety and quality procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
