The Role
This exciting role offers hands-on experience in sample management while supporting your professional development through a structured apprenticeship program or graduate pathway. Based at our Alnwick site, this permanent, onsite position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical processes that underpin drug development.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with clients during study set-up and help prepare key documents like Laboratory Manuals.
Keep everything running smoothly by reconciling samples, resolving discrepancies, and preparing LIMS files.
Manage LIMS databases for sample receipt, chain of custody, and disposal timelines.
Monitor storage units and make sure everything meets compliance standards.
Maintain inventories and support audits.
Pitch in across the site when needed, including lab technician duties.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
HND/HNC or equivalent in a scientific subject, or BSc in a relevant field.
Great attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable:
Familiarity with LIMS systems.
Experience in a regulated lab environment.
