Job title: People Co-ordinator
Location: London, Rainham and London, Chandos Street
Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 (9am – 5:30pm)
Salary: Competitive
Reports to: People Business Partner
About the role
You’ll be the first friendly face, voice (and fastest inbox responder) for all things People—keeping onboarding smooth, HR admin spotless, payroll updates timely, and colleagues calm, informed, and smiling.
It’s perfect if you love variety, care about getting the details right, and enjoy being the organised legend everyone secretly relies on. (And yes, there’s plenty of scope to grow your HR career with us.)
What you’ll do (with style)
Be the first point of contact on the helpdesk, email and phone—equal parts helpful, human and unflappable.
Offer Tier 1 ER support—measured, clear, and drama‑reduced.
Coach managers through People processes (including the second time they ask).
Own onboarding end‑to‑end: contracts, right‑to‑work, access—the “welcome to the team” trifecta.
Keep digital colleague records accurate and compliant
Feed payroll the right changes at the right time—no surprises, just accurate paydays.
Run leaver processes with precision (and appropriate levels of sentiment).
Pitch in on performance cycles, pay reviews, surveys etc—smooth, steady, sorted.
Help on People transformation projects (TUPE, acquisitions, process glow‑ups).
Provide top‑tier admin support for ER cases and escalate the gnarlier ones.
About you:
Experience in a fast‑paced HR admin role
Excellent written, verbal and numerical skills (yes, words and numbers)
Customer‑obsessed, people‑positive, and brilliantly organised
Excel‑confident; process‑friendly; detail‑driven; discreet and professional; positive “can‑do” energy
Bonus brownie points:
CIPD Level 3 (or currently studying)
Clean driving licence + access to a vehicle
HR Shared Service experience
Why you’ll love it here
You’ll join a supportive, collaborative People team with real impact across the full HR lifecycle and plenty of room to learn, grow and shape how colleagues experience work. (Boredom not included)
