Full job description
Do you want to be a key member of a manufacturing team working as a store’s operative, responsible for managing the efficient flow of materials through the business?
Working alongside our existing store’s team; Your work will encompass the lifecycle of stock, from initial receipt and safe storage to picking, and supplying lineside to the production teams.

What You'll Do:
As one of our store operatives, you’ll be fulltime, on-site, located at our Doncaster facility, responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and lineside feed of goods within a factory environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Goods Inward & Processing: Receiving deliveries, checking for damages or discrepancies, and unloading vehicles—often using specialized equipment like forklift trucks
· Inventory Management: Accurately booking stock into our MRP system, performing regular stocktakes, and ensuring items are stored in designated locations to maintain quality and accessibility
· Order Fulfilment: Picking and packing orders for internal production lines, ensuring all picks meet specific requirements and includes correct documentation
· Site Safety & Maintenance: Maintaining high housekeeping standards (e.g., 5S) and adhering strictly to health and safety regulations, including manual handling and COSHH standards
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
· Licensing: A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license (e.g., counterbalance or reach truck) is a mandatory requirement for this role
· Physical Fitness: The role is typically physically demanding, you will be on your feet for long periods and will need to be able to lift heavy items typically up to 25kg on occasion
· IT Literacy: Competence in using computer-based stock systems (MRP/ERP) and basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) is standard for tracking and recording inventory
· Attention to Detail: Critical for ensuring the right parts are picked and stock levels are recorded accurately
Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams, production and site managers
Working Hours:
· 40 hours per week
· Mon – Thu 6:00am – 16:30pm
