A Vacancy at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to work as Clinical Fellows in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Inpatient Ward.
This is for Full time (40 hours per week) posts at South West London and St George’s Mental Health Trust, based at Springfield Hospital, Tooting, London.
Successful applicants will work at Springfield Hospital, as part of an MDT in modern in-patient psychiatric wards. The clinical supervisor will be the Ward Consultant who is based solely on the ward.
The post is suitable for doctors at several stages of their career including Post Foundation Year 2, doctors seeking attainment of specific expertise in an FY3 year, or an additional clinical post while they obtain MRCPsych qualifications.

Our largest, 19-ward site is in Springfield Village, created following our £150m investment into two new world class mental health facilities. A 32-acre public park, shops and cafes are coming soon. Close to shops, cafes and Tooting Bec on the Northern Line plus Earlsfield and Tooting rail stations and bus routes.
To be successful in this role, candidates are expected to have completed their Foundation studies i.e. completion of FY1 and FY2 (or equivalent two years)
This post is being offered at the equivalent of Core Trainee level (i.e. CT1 or equivalent), and the appointment would be at a grade based on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. The post will be initially for 6 months. But there is the possibility that the post may be extended by mutual agreement and subject to availability of funding.
