Location: Faro Lodge, King's Lynn

Salary/Contract: £39,483.29 per annum, Full-Time 37 hours per week, Permanent

If yes come and lead and inspire the team at our six bedded respite unit, which provides support for adults with learning disabilities, our mission is to empower individuals, their families, and carers, to live the lives they choose and remain independent.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and committed Manager to join our six-bedded Faro Lodge Respite Service. Faro Lodge provides short and planned breaks, alongside crisis and emergency support, giving valued respite to our customers and their families.

In this rewarding role, you will ensure the team:

• Support customers to live the life they choose
• Build strong, positive, and meaningful relationships
• Encourage independence and develop daily living skills
• Deliver high-quality, personalised support that truly makes a difference

You will also play a key role in:

• Embedding new processes and ways of working
• Supporting the integration of new business into service delivery
• Ensuring governance, monitoring, reporting, and required actions are completed to a high standard

You will need:

• Proven experience as a manager within the social care sector
• An excellent understanding of the customer and demonstrable experience of developing and delivery services that are customer focused.
• Hold/Working Towards a Level 5 leadership/management qualification or equivalent.
• A range of ICT skills, including Microsoft Office, and an appetite to embrace the digitalisation agenda
• Experience as a motivational and inspiring people manager
• Excellent communication skills

Other requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS check with Children and Adults barring is required for this role
• Essential the applicant holds a Full UK driving licence and use of a vehicle with business insurance
• To undertake designated out of hours, on-call duties for advice and guidance
