Crynodeb
The property & maintenance team within Argyll Estates are responsible for a wide and varied property portfolio. The successful candidate will be able to deal with both internal and external repairs on a portfolio of properties including Inveraray Castle, home of the Campbell Family, Dukes of Argyll. Almost all activity will be in the Inveraray area with occasional work on Tiree.
You will work within a small team managed by the Clerk of Works. You will act professionally and have a calm rational approach. A ‘can do’ mentality combined with energy are as essential as your Tradesperson skills. The successful candidate will preferably have a time-served trade qualification, but we are open to the right person. Training will be provided.
The Tradesperson is to assist in the delivery of the following function and any other similar activity that may be required to deliver property related activities at Argyll Estates:
· General property maintenance and repair services including emergency repairs. Work may include, but is not limited to:
o Roofing.
o Gutters and downpipes.
o Painting and decoration.
o Flooring
o Water supplies, plumbing, drains and wastewater.
o Masonry.
o Joinery.
o Portable appliance testing.
o Property inspections and reports.
o Preventative maintenance.
And similar general building and construction works.
