ZETEC are recruiting a Production Operative to join the team at a growing manufacturing business in Wirral.
Hours of work are Monday-Friday, between 07:00-17:00.
This is a full time, permanent role.
Responsibilities will include:
• Operating and monitoring processing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Carrying out raw material handling, batching and packaging operations
• Completing routine checks, data logging, and quality assurance tasks
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Working collaboratively with the technical, production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and quality assurance
• Participating in training and ongoing development programmes
• Reporting process deviations, equipment faults, or incidents promptly
Skills and Experience required:
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or process industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Chemical handling and safety experience
• Good standard of numeracy and literacy
• Forklift licence and relevant safety certifications are desirable
• Willingness to embrace continuous improvement methods
