Summary
Job Purpose:
Preaching, pastoral and non-pastoral support to meet the service needs of the Sikh community.
Duties & Responsibilities
Well versed in Sikh religious scriptures
Able to demonstrate an empathy with the Sikh religion
Recite the daily Sikh prayers from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, singing hymns, saying prayers, conducting weekly Diwans, preach Sikh religion to congregation,
Recite prayer during Sri Akand Path Ji, Sahj Path Ji and Sukhmani Sahib Ji Paths from the Guru Granth Sahib Ji
Perform marriage and engagement ceremonies, funerals and other religious ceremonies in accordance to the Sikh Maryada
Support the congregation in prayers
Any other jobs as directed by the Gurdwara's Management Committee
