Summary

BLUE HUE CONSULTING LTD

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our children’s residential home located in STOCKTON-ON-TEES. The successful candidates will play a key role in supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs, ensuring their safety, welfare, and positive development in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality day-to-day care and support to young people in accordance with individual care plans.
• Promote safeguarding, confidentiality, and positive behaviour at all times.
• Support young people with daily routines, education, leisure activities, and personal development.
• Act as a key worker where required and contribute to care planning and reviews.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and daily logs.
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional care team.
• Undertake training and continuous professional development.
• Work flexibly, including shift work and sleep-in duties.

Requirements:
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in children’s residential care is desirable but not essential.
• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable.
