Full-time, Permanent | Salary: £46,000–£52,000 per annum + £1,500 welcome bonus
Luma Education Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing nursery near Watford to recruit an experienced Nursery Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious early years professional ready to take the lead in a vibrant, newly opened setting.
Our client’s nursery features modern, spacious rooms and extensive outdoor areas, creating an inspiring environment where children can flourish. As Nursery Manager, you’ll drive high standards, best practice, and the continued success of the nursery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and mentor the team including Deputy Manager, Room Leaders, and Practitioners
Oversee staff recruitment, induction, and professional development
Create a welcoming, inclusive, child-focused environment
Build strong relationships with families, staff, and the local authority
Implement and enhance an engaging EYFS curriculum
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, safeguarding, and health & safety
About You
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
At least 6 months’ experience in a senior or leadership role
Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted standards
Confident, proactive, and highly organised with excellent communication skills
Passionate about delivering high-quality care and driving improvement
