Specialty Doctor - Older Adult RITT/CMHT - Charnley Fold

We are excited to advertise this full time (10 PA) Specialty Doctor post in Older Adult Psychiatry to work with the RITT and CMHT team, based at Charnley Fold, Bamber Bridge. This post is fixed term for 12 months.

The main duties of this post are to provide medical input to the Older Adult Rapid Intervention and Treatment (RITT) and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) Services. The requirement is for the direct care and advice/consultancy to members of the team, GPs and other practitioners. The setting in which patients are seen reflects their needs; this may be home visits or clinics. The post holder will be expected to adopt a collaborative multidisciplinary approach to patient care according to the principles of new ways of working.

To be eligible to apply for this post, you must possess at least 3 year’s experience in psychiatry and be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice. Ideally, you will be Section 12 Approved, or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.
