Role Overview

As a Front of House Server, you’ll play a key part in delivering outstanding hospitality to every guest. You’ll be responsible for engaging with visitors, taking and delivering food and drink orders, and helping create memorable experiences in a fast-paced, fun environment that blends entertainment and dining. The role requires positivity, excellent communication, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to all guests and establish positive first impressions.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them efficiently and professionally.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu offerings, including ingredients and promotions, to confidently make recommendations.

Ensure timely delivery of orders and assist guests throughout their visit to enhance their experience.

Communicate effectively with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure service accuracy and speed.

Handle guest questions, feedback, or concerns promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Maintain a clean, well-presented service area, including tables, floors, and service stations.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, food hygiene and licensing standards, including responsible alcohol service.

Support other front of house operations, including guiding guests, assisting with group bookings or events, and collaborating with teammates.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant or customer-facing service roles.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Energetic, positive attitude and professional presentation.

Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Desirable

Experience with POS/EPOS systems.

Knowledge or interest in hospitality or entertainment venues.

Familiarity with responsible service of alcohol.
