Crynodeb
The objectives of the post include 1. developing understanding of all aspects of assessment and management of children presenting with acute and chornic liver disease, liver tumors and metabolic liver disease 2. developing administrative skills in dealing with colleagues in respect to appropriate service cover 3. opportunity to attend appropriate courses 4. introduction to middle grade paediatric responsibilities in a supportive environment in preparation for a SpR training programme/paediatric subspeciality training The post holder will be expected to attend and contribute to the weekly research meeting, two postgraduate teaching sessions, histology review and Gastroenterology MDT meetings. There is also a weekly lecture given by external speakers in aspects of hepatology and a clinical Grand Round in the Institute of Liver Studies
