We are seeking a dedicated Lexis Lecturer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Lexis (vocabulary and language) in a Further Education College setting and hold a recognized teaching qualification.
As a Lexis Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting learners in expanding their vocabulary, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Deliver high-quality Lexis lessons to students, focusing on vocabulary development and usage.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning activities tailored to the needs of the students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in staff development activities and team meetings.
- Ensure lessons adhere to college policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Lexis Lecturer in a Further Education College.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Lexis and language teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to student success and continuous professional development.
