Summary
High5 Recruitment is proud to represent a high-quality private provider seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a unique dual-registered provision in the Derby area. This role involves the management of two distinct settings: a 1-bed solo home and a 2-bed home (supporting up to 3 children in total).
We are looking for a compliance-focused leader who can maintain the highest standards of care while fostering a culture of professional curiosity and excellence across both sites.
Key Responsibilities & Compliance Focus:
*** Regulation 13 Oversight: Implementing a robust leadership and management framework to ensure both homes exceed the standards set by the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
*** Dual Registration Management: Providing strategic oversight for both the solo and 2-bed provisions, ensuring consistent quality of care and staffing.
*** Ofsted Excellence: Utilising a deep understanding of the Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) to achieve and maintain "Good" or "Outstanding" outcomes
*** Team Leadership: Mentoring and developing staff through reflective practice, rigorous appraisals, and a focus on the "Children’s Voice."
The Ideal Candidate:
*** Education: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
***Experience: Proven track record as a Registered Manager with a history of successful Ofsted inspections.
*** Knowledge: Expert understanding of safeguarding, quality standards, and legislative requirements.
