Denbighshire County Council is actively evolving into a modern, data-led local authority. We need a Senior Business Systems Officer who can treat our core applications as platforms for change, directly influencing how we deliver essential services—from supporting our Net Zero 2030 goal to ensuring a Healthier, Happier Denbighshire.
This is not a purely reactive support role; it's a chance to be a technical authority and system champion for our most critical enterprise applications. You will connect complex business needs with modern and innovative technical solutions.
We are looking for:
A highly skilled and detail-oriented ICT professional with extensive experience in managing, enhancing, and supporting complex business systems across large, multi-stakeholder environments.
Strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of enterprise applications, data flows, and system integrations. Adept at translating business needs into effective technical solutions, leading system improvements, and ensuring applications operate efficiently, securely, and in alignment with organizational goals.
Expertise in business analysis, systems administration, solution design, and project delivery, someone who can collaborate closely with business units, vendors, and technical teams to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage priorities in fast-paced, high-complexity settings. Committed to upholding best-practice governance, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring that enterprise systems support optimal operational performance and strategic outcomes.
Appointment subject to satisfactory references.
If you would like to discuss any aspect of the post, please call the ICT Service Desk on 01824 706299 and ask to speak with one of the ICT Business Partners.
