Are you a PDMS expert ready to make your mark on one of the UK's most significant energy projects? We're looking for an experienced PDMS Designer to join our client's team in South West England on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is your chance to shape the future of energy infrastructure, managing complex piping designs and optimising workflows across multiple sites.
- Own the PDMS Environment - Set up and maintain PDMS models, bases, and catalogues for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure Data Integrity - Manage accurate data transfers and compliance with operating procedures.
- Control Access & Licensing - Administer user accounts and permissions to maintain security and cost control.
- Resolve Issues Fast - Diagnose and fix software problems to keep projects moving.
- Collaborate Globally - Work with Aveva, clients, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver seamless design integration.
- Drive Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to enhance processes and team efficiency.
- Proven experience in piping design for major infrastructure projects using PDMS.
- Strong knowledge of pipe manufacturing processes and 2D/3D design rules.
- Expertise in PDMS administration, fault diagnosis, and software maintenance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and in multi-disciplinary, multicultural teams.
- Bonus: French language skills
- Location: SW England (site-based)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38 hours/week
- Clearance: Full UK working rights + SC clearance (or ability to obtain)
