Salary: NJC Scale [L] £26,522 - £29,639 (Full Time Equivalent)
Actual salary 2 days (13 hours) £7,475-£8,416
3 days (19.5 hours) £11,983 – 13,376

We are seeking to appoint a Medical Support Assistant (First Aider) to join our positive and friendly team. Full first aid training will be given so previous experience in this field would be an advantage but is not essential. This role will be a job share with our existing first aider and the working hours will be Thursday and Friday 8.15 – 3.15 with a 30min unpaid break.
Good organisational skills, flexible working practices and patience are essential, as well as proficient use of ICT. Teamwork is also an essential aspect of this post, as are listening skills and the ability to form good working relationships with both team members and students.
Based in our well-equipped First Aid facility you will be responsible for ensuring that students and staff receive appropriate first aid during the school day, and for administering medications for students with care plans and additional medical needs.
