Summary
Beaudesert Park School, set in 30 acres on Minchinhampton Common, Gloucestershire, is one of the county’s leading independent co-educational day & flexi boarding schools for children aged 3 to 13.We have a fabulous opportunity which is likely to suit either a student planning a gap year after A-Levels or University students seeking a study placement or looking to gain experience ahead of a career in teaching or sports coaching. The role is for one academic year and offers a wide experience across all aspects of school life.
Having already successfully recruited several team members for September 2025, we have one remaining place available. As a consequence, this specific opportunity is only open to males as the role involves working in boys boarding.The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly adaptable team player. RGAs play an active role in the boarding house and in the provision of sport across the School. Opportunities also exist for those wishing to gain wider experience in developing their own talents and interests, for example in music, drama, art and DT. Candidates who naturally enjoy the company of young people and have a fun-loving disposition that young people can relate to and with which they can feel comfortable will find these attributes beneficial.Experience of working in a busy school environment should prove invaluable for whichever career successful candidates later choose to pursue. At the end of the year, we expect RGAs will have gained confidence, acquired valuable leadership and communication skills, and developed talents in areas perhaps, as yet, unknown!
The position is residential and you will have your own room within a house on the school campus shared with other Gaps/Grads for the duration of your contract. All food will be provided during school term times. There is free parking and use of the school pool and other facilities at specified times.
