Bedelsford School is an Outstanding special school located in Kingston, providing a nurturing and innovative learning environment for pupils aged 2 to 19. We support a diverse group of students with a wide range of physical disabilities, including those with profound and multiple learning difficulties, moderate learning needs, and complex health conditions.

We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support our students' educational journey. Your day-to-day assistance will be crucial in providing the help and encouragement students need to thrive in a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• To deliver excellent support for learning under the direction of the teacher.
• Deal with personal care needs of pupils, following laid down school procedures.
• To provide medical interventions
• To follow general instructions and guidance to fully support all teaching and learning activities in the classroom including the competent and regular use of ICT, including a range of communication aids.
• To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupils and the classroom, creating and maintaining a supportive educational environment.
• To positively support the ethos of the school and be aware of and work within the Code of Conduct, school policies and guidelines at all times.
Key Requirements:
• GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy
• Experience of working with, or caring for children
• Basic ICT Skills
• Commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children
