Trinity CE Primary School is looking to recruit an After School Club Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team, starting as soon as possible.This post is term time only, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 6:00pm. Our after school club aims to;
• provide a welcoming, safe and secure environment for pupils at the end of the school day;
• provide an affordable, self-sustaining, after school childcare facility for parents and carers during term time;
• sustain and continue to build positive links and relationships with parents and carers;
• provide children with a light tea/ snack at the end of the day in a pleasant and relaxed environment;
• provide a calm play environment in which children from Reception to Year 6 can engage socially therefore strengthening relationships within the school community.

We need someone who: • Enjoys working with children of different ages. • Is a good communicator and team member. • Is caring, flexible and enthusiastic. • Wants to make a difference and support the further development of our provision. The postholder will be expected to act as an adult role model and support school policies when dealing with pupils or visitors to the school. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a flexible way. Details of the duties are laid out in the accompanying documents. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment and all appointments will be subject to appropriate vetting, including an enhanced DBS disclosure check. Some roles may need to comply with the ‘Childcare Act 2006’ and the ‘Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009’ where additional disclosure of information will be required.
