Premier Marinas are looking to recruit a Marina & Boatyard Operative at our Chichester Marina. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly, dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. This multi-facetted role is a great opportunity for a customer-focused individual with a flexible work ethic to join our team in a busy, purpose built marina and boatyard.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven customer service or customer facing experience
- Flexibility and adaptability to both marina and boatyard operations
- Ability to learn and use computer software systems
- "A can do" attitude and flexible approach to teamwork
- Be able to stay calm under pressure
A good knowledge of boats and experience driving plant would be desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
This role includes working outdoors in all weathers and will follow a summer & winter duty rota that will include some weekends and Bank/Public holidays. During the summer months, you will be the face of Premier onsite, supporting all aspects of boat movements and delivering excellent customer service. In the winter months, the role is primarily based in the boatyard, where you will work alongside the boatyard team to support operational activities.
