Summary
#TeamMossCottage are recruiting now and on the lookout for active and enthusiastic colleagues with exceptional communication and banter skill to join their lively and friendly service as Support Practitioners in Alexandria. We have up to 30 hour contracts available as well as relief opportunities.
The Role
This is an exciting, varied role, where no two days are the same! As a Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting 3 fun loving gents with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, support to appointments, managing personal finances, assisting with medication and prompting with personal care.
You'll take an active interest in their hobbies which include exploring karaoke, attending gigs and parties, going for day trips, playing pool and darts and going to the gym and for a swim. As well as being out and about in the community the gentlemen enjoy nothing more than going for a spot of lunch.
We recruit on values and transferrable skills. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, we'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too....fully funded!

Shift Patterns
Our small, dedicated team provides 24/7 care for the gentlemen and shift patterns include a sleepover shift which is 10am until 10am the following day including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
