Assist in the delivery of the technical aspects of Vascular Ultrasound Service, at Freeman Hospital, Sunderland Royal Hospital and University Hospital North Durham sites. Assists in providing professional technical leadership in an area of expertise locally. Assists in maintaining and developing high standards of service provision throughout their area of responsibility. Assists in developing, implementing and monitoring clinical and organisational strategies within areas of expertise. Contributes to service and staff development. Opportunities to develop and train in general medical ultrasound may also be possible.
