Crynodeb
The post holder will have full training on Phototherapy and the treatments it can offer to patients To assist in minor surgery procedures, this will include working alongside the surgical nurse and Doctors. The post holder will work alongside the Band Six Dermatology Sister to learn and manage leg ulcers. Full training for patch testing will be given to the successful candidate, alongside the patch test nurses. The post holder will be given training for PDT. To teach and deliver the systemic injections to the patients Training for Ederma, this is a nurse-led service, but with support from the consultants. Ordering the supplies and medications, this will include emollients, topical steroids and FP10 for the department. Have excellent communication skills Discusses and agrees assessment outcomes with patients, carers and other health care professionals to enable patients to make an informed decision regarding their treatment. Specific Clinical training modules Communicates proactively with all clinicians on the clinical condition and treatment plan of patients and ensure accurate nursing documentation is maintained.
