Employee relations To facilitate informal resolution of Disciplinary, Grievance, Dignity at Work, Capability, Whistleblowing, Freedom To Speak Up matters to ensure an early resolution is gained, where appropriate. In conjunction with other colleagues within the People Directorate interpret and advise on employment legislation, HR Policies, procedures and terms and conditions of service, ensuring professional advice is always given, seeking expert advice from the Director People Partnering as required. Provide specialist HR support to managers in formal panel hearings (Disciplinary, Performance, Grievance and Management of Attendance) attending as the HR expert adviser. To proactively manage through liaison with colleagues the throughput and quality of employee relations casework ensuring appropriate and effective timeframes for casework management are achieved. Support the Lead People Partner with highly complex and sensitive fixed term contract cases/as well as cases related to senior medics and senior management.
