Crynodeb
To lead the team of screening technicians, ensuring efficient, effective and timely working across all community sites. The post holder will have a key role in ensuring equity of access, assisting in the sourcing of appropriate clinic locations and conducting quality assurance assessments of sites as per National Guidelines. The post holder will take joint responsibility for ensuring fail-safes are implemented and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure quality of service. The post holder will assist the Screening Management team in conducting annual appraisals, 1 to 1 meetings and in the recruitment of screening technicians. The post holder will act as an intermediary for screening technicians and programme manager. As an accredited screening technician, the post holder will maintain their AAA screening skills and abilities and participate fully in the AAA screening clinic rota Dimensions To work in partnership with the clinical and administrative teams to identify relevant education and training needs To act as a resource for the accreditation programme for training screeners. To act as an expert witness / assessor for the L3 diploma To assist as a supervisor to the screening technicians To take part in staff appraisals and personal development planning for staff for whom responsibility is delegated To assist in ensuring that all members of the programme are fully trained to perform all tasks required and these skills are regularly updated and reviewed To ensure all staff members complete any in-house or national course/examination which may be necessary as they are implemented Perform clinic visits to assess the efficiency of how clinics run. To lead team meetings with managerial support.
