Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Professional Regulatory Body in their search for an Interim Governance Manager to provide high-quality secretariat and governance support over a fixed-term period. This is a key delivery-focused role, supporting senior leadership and ensuring the smooth operation of Council governance.

In this role, you will work closely with, and take direction from, the Senior Governance Manager, providing full end-to-end secretariat support for Council meetings. This will include preparing and coordinating board packs, distributing agendas, taking accurate minutes, and tracking and following up on action points. You will play a central role in ensuring meetings are well-organised, compliant and supported to a consistently high professional standard.

You will work directly with senior stakeholders (including the Chief Executive and Chair of Council), requiring confidence, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally. The role sits within a busy central governance team and requires someone who is agile, resilient and comfortable managing changing priorities in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.

The successful candidate will be an experienced governance or secretariat professional with a strong background in supporting board or council-level meetings, ideally within a regulatory or membership-based organisation. You will be highly organised, confident working at senior level, and focused on delivery and accuracy.
