About the role:
We are recruiting a Store Manager for a busy high street retail store specialising in cards, gifts and partyware. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Store Manager or a strong Assistant Manager ready to step up.
You’ll be accountable for commercial performance, team engagement and delivering a consistently positive customer experience.

What you’ll do:
Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver great customer service
Drive sales performance and achieve store targets
Create a positive, well-organised and customer-focused store environment
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, housekeeping and safety
Use sales and performance information to identify opportunities
Recruit, train and develop team members
Plan, delegate and prioritise effectively, particularly during peak trading
Ensure compliance with company procedures, cash handling and health & safety
What you’ll bring:
Experience in a retail management role (Assistant Manager or above)
A customer-first mindset and strong commercial awareness
The ability to lead, coach and develop a team
Confidence managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A positive, professional and hands-on approach
This role may suit candidates currently working as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Deputy Manager or Store Manager Designate.
