The Role
Hitchin Town Hall are looking for a dedicated Casual Events Duty Manager to assist in the smooth running of our events schedule. All applicants should have supervisory knowledge of the events or hospitality sector and demonstrable skills within the field. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing events across the season, overseeing staff, and ensuring the correct serving of alcohol, food, and beverage services.
This is a casual position within a busy events venue
The Experience you will bring
• Supervisory or managerial experience in events or hospitality
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong communication skills and composure under pressure
• A proactive, hands on approach to event delivery
• Knowledge of food and beverage service, including responsible alcohol service
• Confidence in solving problems quickly while maintaining high standard
