Crynodeb
Allgood Farm is a small family business which manufactures specialist organic soil mixes and fertilisers for online retail. We are a small, friendly team. We normally have 6 music on the radio.
Duties include:
- Using scoops, buckets and scales to weigh out materials
- Filling and emptying dryer
- Operating mixer
- Assembling boxes
- Bagging, boxing, labelling and barcoding products
- Making up and wrapping pallets
- Using pallet stacker (training provided)
- Unloading deliveries and moving stock to storage areas
- Preparing orders for courier collections
- General warehouse duties
Requirements:
- Reasonable fitness for physical work
- Able to lift sacks and boxes up to 20kg
- Able to follow instructions and work without direct supervision
- Good organisational skills for stock management
- Excellent eye for detail and accuracy in production and record keeping
- An interest in sustainability and growing things would be a bonus.
- To start week commencing 2/2/26
Working Hours:
- 2 or 3 shifts per week, Tues/Weds/Fri
- 8 hours per day, including paid break
- 9.30-5.30, with flexibility after training
- Opportunity for full-time and/or permanent after 12 weeks, with production bonuses
- Opportunity to progress to team leader and potentially manager.
